Very good. This 12 volume, early 19th-century collection of the famous newspaper is complete and is something like a "Best of Spectator"-compilation.

Original cloth with illustrated dustjacket. The volume in firm condition with minor waterdamage to upper boards. The extremely scarce dustjacket with dampstain to the rear flap. Overall a good to very good condition of this very rare book. Not only the photographs in this volume were taken by Ithell Colquhoun, but the dustjacket was also illustrated by this surrealist artist.
